“We don’t use lacrosse to build better lacrosse players. We use lacrosse to build better competitors, teammates, and leaders.

Years from now, your daughter won't remember every tournament she played. She will remember who she became because she chose to do hard things.

HOW?
WITH THE MISSION SYSTEM

An ETS Mission is a structured player-development experience built around a specific lacrosse skill set and the identity required to perform it under pressure.

Each Mission combines:

  • Small-group, on-field instruction

  • Progressive skill development

  • Competitive challenges

  • A weekly Mission Brief

  • At-home assignments and film review (Missions will be recorded)

  • Player reflection

  • A family debrief

  • Measurable standards for completing the Mission

Athletes don’t simply attend training sessions. They accept a challenge, practice between sessions, compete under pressure and demonstrate what they have learned.

ETS exists for athletes who care more about who they're becoming than what they're winning.

Dennis Short

aka "Shorty"

Thirty years ago I thought my job was to coach lacrosse. Today I believe my job is to help young athletes discover who they're capable of becoming.

The idea of Elite Training Systems stems from my experience building the Rollins Women’s Lacrosse Team. Our motto was "ETS!"

Practices were intense. Details mattered. Everything was a competition. Pressure was everywhere! But so was BELIEF!

WHY ETS IS DIFFERENT

Every MISSION is designed to help an athlete answer five questions each week:

WHO AM I BECOMING?
Identity
WHAT AM I LEARNING?
Skill
HOW DO I PROVE IT?
Competition
WHAT DO I THINK ABOUT?
Reflection
WHAT DO I DO AT HOME?
Ownership

A complete ETS Mission improves skill, strengthens decision-making, tests the athlete under pressure, and helps her recognize who she is becoming.
